European Freestyle Pro Tour: showcasing the best windsurfers of the Old Continent | Photo: EFPT

It’s definitely one of the most important professional windsurfing circuits of the Old Continent. The EFPT was founded in 2003 and, since then, it has confirmed many up-and-coming talents.

In 2016, Europe’s best freestyle windsurfers will discuss the title in six stages: Podersdorf (Austria), Naxos (Greece), Lanzarote (Spain), Peljesac (Croatia), Brouwersdam (Holland), and Six Fours Les Plages (France).

Amado Vrieswijk, the 2015 EFPT champion, and Adams Sims, the 2015 EFPT Tow-In champions, will try to defend their titles, but there will be windsurfers like Adrien Bosson and Riccardo Marca in the fight for the top spot.

Only sailors with a valid European passport are eligible to win the EFPT title. The 2016 European Freestyle Pro Tour kicks off May 5th, in Austria.
