“Spectators can expect to see around 30 of Australia and New Zealand’s best kiters really pushing the boundaries with some big airs, front rolls, back rolls and amazing tricks,” notes David De Witt, event director of the NKL.
The NKL Series Grand Final will feature 24 top kiteboarders from Freestyle and Wave, plus six wildcards. Two Big Air specialist will also be crowned overall champions.
“I’m stoked that New Zealand and Australia have combined a series of events for us. It’s about time we got more involved with bigger and better events. Hopefully, I’ll pull some sweet doubles, but I’m just hoping we get so good conditions so we can all bust out our best moves!” added Marc Jacobs, who will fight for the title.
